The Coaches not so much. Two of the many reasons for the Tulane debacle: Time in the pocket (reason Seth will be forced to enter the portal in the off season), and special teams coaching.

Maybe there will be a shakeup over the bye week
Don't understand why ST coach is still around, ST was bad last year and hasn't improved at all this year. Our new fg kicker is making kicks but our schemes suck
wasn't ST also bad in Norvell's last year? we were just that damn good to overcome it?
Players always want to win. If you played sports then you know each game is its own event. What came before and what comes after goes away during the game.

Yes, the players are very aware of the record, the implications, the winning, and the losing but when comes down to each game - you always want to win the one you are playing.

No, we had one of the best special teams units in the country. Several noticeable kickoff returns for touchdowns (Gibson's return vs SMU and Claybrooks' return vs Cincinnati on Black Friday) were the two I remember the most. Not to mention Riley's big kicks late down the season and in the Cotton Bowl. Riley was 11-12 in Field Goals of 40+ yards.

That coach, Pete Lembo, is now at South Carolina where the Gamecocks are leading the country in kickoff returns.

If Special Teams are very under appreciated when they're performed efficiently.
