The 82 game, 6 month marathon race of the NBA season starts tonight for our Memphis Grizzlies.
Knicks starters are likely to be: Randle, Mitchell Robinson, Brunson, Fournier and Barrett. In their last pre-season game Randle had 10/6/4, Robinson 20/12, Brunson 27/4/5. Fournier 4/5/5 and Barrett 19/12/2. Brunson is probably going to make them a good bit better this year.
Ready to get the party started! Lets go Grizz!
Go Griz!

ESPN shows the Grizzlies favored by four points at the time of this post.
line opened Grizz -7.5....I guess Zaire Williams and probably Dillon Brooks are out, in addition to JJJ of course
Must win game!
How they gonna put white Grizz shirts on every seat and no one wears them? lol

this is not OKC ... also, 1st game of the season - folks from the M need to show out for a national audience ... everyone got their "drip" game on ...
blown a 19 pt lead. where have I seen this movie before??
Grizz with the OT win: 1-0
Always good to get the first W of the season. Just incredible intensity. Only 81 more games to do it. Even though he didn’t play much, seeing Derrick Rose play in the FEF always reminds me of that magic season. Hard to believe that was 15 years ago.
In an MVP worthy performance, Morant had 34 points, 4 rebounds and 9 assists.

The following link (as of this writing) leads to a video of Morant's block and subsequent assist along with other highlights: https://www.espn.com/nba/video/_/gameId/401468024

How many times will we have to endure that

I could not believe that Aldama let his man go to the corner while he stayed under the basket to defend the Knick guard driving to the basket!!! With a 3 point lead? By golly he was going to defend the 2 while letting his man let the game tying 3 ball fly.

Aldama played a great game. When he went out was when NY made their run. He will learn from it, but Aldama was terrific overall last night.
I believe that the Grizzlies 50 3pt attempts tied the most 3pt attempts from last year. Their 17 made 3pt shots would have been their 5th most last season. Looks like there may be more of an emphasis on Ja driving into the lane and either taking the shot or kicking it out. Winning a game with 3 starters out and shooting 43% 2pt, 34% 3pt and 61% FT is pretty awesome.

3 guys, Aldama, Adams and Konchar with double digit rebounds. Bane with a terrible shooting game 6-22 overall. Tyus shot better than he did in the preseason. Roddy and Tilman looked bad. LaRavia played pretty well in his minutes.

lol. it was an 'oversight' born of habit.

Ja made double sure we used our last foul in OT. But I don't think any time expired...so why did we do that?
Ja looked like he was collecting payback on Brunson for the charge
Grizz move to 2-0 with a 129-122 win in Houston tonight in a game we trailed most of the game including by 16 once. Morant had 49. We are all witnesses.
Wow, what a game from Morant! He had 49 points on 17-26 shooting (including 5-6 from three) and 8 assists.

The one 3point shot Moran missed was a heave at the end of the shot clock

I think he may shoot 40% from the 3 for the season , if he does …mvp is possible
