Curry avoids getting pipped. :D

Sure hope RR gets back to the league.

Can’t find anything stating he has Covid?? Seem like warriors would announce that??
https://twitter.com/kylenmills/status/16...SNTVLhBEZw but looks like he’s joining the big team again tommorow, but this was the warriors plan all season to have rollins going back n forth from g league to NBA, I kinda figured he wouldn’t see much nba minutes this year going to the defending champs and a vet filled team but he’s been doing pretty good in the g league which is encouraging

Next game conveniently tomorrow in Detroit: tickets as low as $11. according to ESPN.

Can't find a ticket that cheap for P5 college basketball team.
per Steve Kerr "We're high on Ryan" says they knew surgery was an option but decided to do it now to get him ready for summer ball. same bone that sidelined him earlier in the year.
Things may be looking up - Rollins back for Summer league - Roster may open up....

Good for him should get more PT with the Wizards.

Will be interesting to see who Washington drafts tonight.
Too bad, in my opinion. Warriors are a great organization. It would have taken a couple of years, but I thought Rollins had a future there.
I love the move, hopefully rollins sticks there. Wizards are going to be really bad so he should get lots of playing time, also after doing some research looks like wizards president is a Toledo grad.

Miami of Ohio for undergrad and Univ of Toledo for Law School.
Ryan is not on Washington's summer league roster I assume because still recuperating from his foot injury.

Hmmm. Before he was traded, he said in an interview that he would be playing in the summer league for GS.
Not on roster until the Jordan poole trade officially went through (which was yesterday), a wizards reporter today said Ryan and Baldwin will be suiting up this weekend for the summer league team

Glad to hear that makes sense will have to record their games as well.
Rollins started Saturday and played 19 minutes in their first game, a loss to Indiana. He scored 11 on 5-13 shooting (1-3 from distance) adding 2 boards and 2 assists but had 4 turnovers.

He started and played 27 minutes yesterday in a win over Boston. Again shooting 5-13 (1-3) but scored 17 going 6-6 from the line. He added 3 boards and 9 assists with only 1 turnover. He also had 5 steals! That's really solid all-around game despite the shooting percentage from the field.

His next game is Tuesday against Wembanyama and the Spurs at 10:30. Game in on NBA-TV.

High praise from wizards head coach wes unseld jr on ryan rollins at about the 1:39 mark

“I told him this two days ago: He’s showing me that he can be a consistent two-way player. He’s got physical tools, he’s got length, better athlete than I thought he was. Obviously, he can score the ball, everybody knows that. But to see him guard; I think he can be elite on that end. Probably hasn’t been forced to do it, but I think that’s certainly something we can dial into.”

Oops, should K have done more in that regard? I seem to recall Rollins had good steal stats.
we put a lot of Rollins as a very young player and he handled it well. If he'd spent a 3rd and 4th year in college (where he'd be now-think of that!) I think the expectation to push him harder on his D and less developed parts of his game would be happening.

Good to hear he's impressing.
Ryan drops 13 points in 16 minutes in the Wizards blowout of the Knicks. also 4 reb an assist no turnovers and only 2 missed shots. interestingly, he was mostly matched up with Dante Divencenzo who played ahead of him last year at Golden St. Rollins had a +23, Divencenzo a -23.

No sign of Milner in preseason play as he is no longer under contract with the Spurs. Most likely plays in the g league but doesn't look like he will have a 2 way deal.

In other MAC news Emoni Bates has lit up the preseason scoring efficiently at a high rate, rebounding, and creating a buzz. seems the pro environment has been good for him. Jeenathan "Nate" Williams from Buffalo is under contract with the (Houston) Rockets and has had a great preseason and looks like he will make their roster. Jason Preston just signed by the Grizzlies after the Clippers waived him or didn't pick up his option year-not sure. Most likely, this is a 2 month trial run while Ja Morant is suspended. Richaun Holmes still in the league. Casenada from Akron was getting a look but like Milner it seems that he won't make a roster and will have to prove himself in the g league or go overseas.

Rollins not only securing a spot on the roster but likely a spot in the rotation as well. If the Wizards move Delon Wright (which is possible considering the state of the team), Rollins would be the backup PG to Tyus Jones. Rollins will get time regardless but could turn into a big season for him.

Would love to see Jeenathan Williams secure a spot in the league long-term he was too good for the G-League last year, and played some end of season regular season games with the Blazers. Also hoping we finally see Preston in the league, has been horribly unlucky playing on a contender and with injuries. Holmes has a big opportunity with Dallas this year as they've been waiting for a big man to step up and be an impact player. Lots of MAC Storylines in the NBA this year.

Preston waived already by the Grizzlies.
