Man, I can’t believe it’s been over 17 years since I moved away from Bham
I return often, but never for very long

My BBQ question…these days who has the best loaded BBQ baked potato in town?
(Looking specifically for potato recommendations)
Based on sheer size, Full moon. Last time I had it it was actually two potatoes end to end stuffed with bbq.

That’s how I remember it…but I looked at the online menu and didn’t see potatoes

I went to the one in Fultondale when I got back from the Liberty game & they wouldn’t let me get the big one due to a potato shortage.
American Ranch House in Tarrant next to Burger King
Full Moon or Al’s!!
If Saws has them, go there. Outstanding Q. Or try the pork and greens. Damn good.
Full Moon is my go to. I hear all the hype about everyone else and there are other places that have different items just as good or even a little better, (some not as good as well), but for overall menu I'll take full moon, especially over Dreamland, Bob Sykes (All Hype joint), and Golden Rule.

Local Joe's in Southside (Gadsden) and Rainbow City is really good if you are up this way. Best in that area by FAR. I use the Rainbow City location and it is a hole in the wall country store type and it is solid.

I have tried a lot of the others and do hit them on occasion and do enjoy others but there are times it has to be Full Moon.
