Quote:Joe Biden appeared in Puerto Rico on Monday to deliver remarks and to promise aid after the recent hurricane that struck the island. He also had some really head-scratching things to say. And while I realize that the president being senile and giving away your money is basically every other day of the week, the news is the news so let’s get to it.

Here was Biden’s opener, of which I can’t make heads nor tails of.

Based on his reaction, that was supposed to be a joke, but for the life of me, I can’t figure out what the punchline was. Looking at Jill Biden’s face, it doesn’t appear that she could either. The president just says random, unfunny things and looks around, expecting people to laugh. Usually, they oblige, but this instance was especially odd because there wasn’t even a semblance of an actual joke told.

In the next bit of embarrassment, Biden decided to claim that he was “raised in the Puerto Rican community at home.”

This is one of those instances I’ve mentioned before where the president tries to say something that presents himself as everything to everyone. One day he will claim to have been a member of the Civil Rights movement and the next, he’ll say he got arrested with Nelson Mandela after fighting a guy named Corn Pop. Oh, and he once drove an eighteen-wheeler while attending shul more than Jewish people do. Of course, none of that is actually true, which is par for the course regarding anything Biden says.

This attempt at pandering is especially weird, though, given that Puerto Rico falls under the First Circuit Court of Appeals and has since 1915. Pennsylvania is part of the Third Circuit Court of Appeals. Yet, in that clip, he claims to have visited Puerto Rico for “business” as a lawyer working in the Third Circuit. That doesn’t make any sense.

The charitable reading of his statement is that he really just meant that the Third Circuit’s physical building is in a Puerto Rican area of Philadelphia, but it’s a long way from that to being “raised in the Puerto Rican community.” Besides, there’s little evidence that Biden spent much time as a working lawyer anyway, in any context. He’s been a career politician.

The real question here is which of his handlers green-lit the telling of that tale? Because whoever it was provided the basis for Biden to concoct another false background story. It’s just not a good look, although I’ll leave open the slightest possibility that there’s more to his story that provides clarification past the president just being a liar.

Moving on, it wouldn’t be a Biden speech without bouts of confusion. At one point, he talked about New York sending a congresswoman down to Puerto Rico but also state troopers or something. Again, I don’t know what he’s trying to say.

Then there was this red-flag moment where the president tried to pronounce a word in Spanish. Things did not go well.

I won’t belabor the point. The man is completely out of it and he expresses that reality every single time he gets up to speak in public. Meanwhile, his overly ambitious wife continues to shove him along even though you can read on her face that she knows exactly what’s going on. It’s just a weird scene and one that shouldn’t be lost on any American.

We're approaching GAME OVER point for Biden*.

He clearly is having trouble reading the words correctly off the damn teleprompter due to his advancing Alzheimer's. Everyone knows it but simply endure him stumbling and mumbling through these carefully prepared public comments.

Jill simply ignores the plight of her husband because she is absolutely enamored with the wonderful perks of being First Lady. Her mentally deficient husband is being publicly abused by the Controller but she could give a beefeater $h1t less.

Keep trotting the Depends-Wearer-in-Chief out there, Dems. What a pathetic charade this entire Administration is.

Apologies for repeating this every so often, but I’ll just say again: if Kamala Harris had the unified support of all or almost all of the Democrats’ upper-level donors/consultants/ leaders, Biden would’ve resigned already. He would’ve stepped aside “on the advice of doctors”, probably about 6 months ago, but at any rate he would’ve done it by now. But of course, Kamala Harris does *Not* have that kind of support, and in fact a lot of those people are absolutely terrified to go into a national campaign with her calling the shots. So they, and we, are stuck in this weird limbo with a half-senile president making one WTF public statement after another.

He was trying to say mangrove habitat.
Oh looky, Jill wore another flowery dress hoping something would try to pollinate her.
These are always such a treat. I know I shouldn’t laugh at a senile imbecile but he’s a Democrat, and I just can’t help myself
I guess the puppeteers figured "eh, it's just Puerto Rico" so they didnt bother to get him all drugged up.

Thus, the typical drooling, mumbling nonsense.

Fair point that contributes to all of BULLS HIT this pathetic Administration is putting out to the US citizens.

There is no question whatsoever that Kamala the Slut is so far out of her comfort zone as VP that she might be worse than the Alzheimer's impacted Biden*. But THIS is what you get when committing to have a "insert specific race/gender" person to be your running mate! You end up hiring someone who works best on her knees and not on her feet!

TOLERATE THE FUBAR "LEADERSHIP" OF THIS TOTALLY INCOMPETENT ADMINISTRATION, AMERICA!
When I was a lifeguard in PR I had to fight this guy named Francisco Cornpopuela. West Side Story is real man I was there.
Hard to tell which is worse, Biden's idiocy and incompetence or the fawning, slobbering (democrat) governor of Puerto Rico. He practically gave Biden a blow job when he got off the plane.

Probably not that far off.
Bwahahahah!

People actually voted for that idiot. He may be senile but he's been a complete dumfuk for over 50 years.

If she would simply dress as a 9 year old then Joe would try to pollinate her.
More Weirdness From Biden in Puerto Rico

Quote:Joe Biden went to Ponce, Puerto Rico on Monday to survey the damage from Hurricane Fiona to the area. He’s next supposed to go to Florida to survey the damage from Hurricane Ian.

As we reported, while he was there, he made some bizarre remarks that included pandering to the people about his “Puerto Rican” roots, saying he was “Puerto Rican politically.” He claimed he had been to Puerto Rico before because it was part of the “Third Circuit.” But Puerto Rico is part of the Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. So it was unclear what the heck he was talking about. But he barely did any lawyering before he became a senator and that wouldn’t make you Puerto Rican anyway if you visited the area a few times, so even this pandering effort was a big stretch. It’s so maddening that he does this pandering thing, trying to identify with the people wherever he goes rather than just being honest and saying whatever he is there to say — in this case to talk about aid to the region in the wake of the flooding from the hurricane. That’s what people want to hear, not pandering.

But that wasn’t the only weirdness in his visit. As we’ve seen with a lot of his recent remarks, he continued to say and do strange things.

When he came out to make his remarks in Ponce, he was walking with everyone else when suddenly he just seemed to stop as everyone else including his wife, Jill, continued walking, as Joe stared at the ground, rolling up his sleeves. It looked very odd like he had no idea where he was for a second.

I thought maybe Biden might have been looking for his mark on the ground, that that might explain the weird action. As I previously noted, on at least one prior occasion — at the Rosh Hashanah celebration at the White House — he seemed to be looking for a mark where to stand. What does it say when they have to mark off for him where to stand? While you might have actors do that, I’ve never seen that for politicians for simple remarks. If they’re doing that, it shows to what lengths they are trying to control his movements. That came after him wandering off multiple times. But when I looked at a video that showed the ground, I didn’t see anything, so there wasn’t even that excuse. He was just weirdly staring at the ground. There wasn’t anything there, that I could see, so I have no idea what he was staring at. You can also see the FEMA director Deanna Criswell staring at him as she walks by (she’s the blond in the collared shirt) wondering what the heck he’s doing. She was there when he wandered off at the FEMA headquarters.

Biden also weirdly sped up his remarks in a couple of places and looked over his shoulder as he was delivering them. He mentioned a storm approaching when he began, but then he droned on and on for several minutes without getting to the point of the aid that he was delivering. Suddenly, he then started trying to talk at light speed.

He then slowed on and droned on again. Then he sped up again.

If you think a storm is coming you cut your remarks short. You don’t drone on, speed up, drone on, speed up. Just so weird.
What is particularly telling is NO ONE on this board argues that Biden* does NOT have Alzheimer's. Everyone knows it but the leftists simply avoid delving into that topic.

Alzheimer’s or not, he is a complete idiot. Then again, so is every leftist in America
This just in- Biden wasn’t falling down the stairs. He was salsa dancing, since he was practically raised by Puerto Ricans and he’s part of the culture. Maybe it was the merengue? I’m not sure. I’m was not raised in an all Puerto Rican household like he was.

For whatever it's worth, almost all my liberal friends will voluntarily acknowledge that Biden is quickly deteriorating mentally. It is glaring. What's even more concerning is that many of my friends will go ahead and vote for Biden again (assuming he runs), despite knowing this.

Of course, lots of conservatives will vote for unqualified candidates, too.

Whether from the political left or from the right, the mindset is the same: We'll do anything, even if we quietly know it's outlandish, to "stick it to the enemy."

As somebody on this board recently posted about Herschel Walker (my interpretation of the poster's words) ... "Well, even if Walker is fully unqualified and a man of questionable character, I don't care. Because he'll vote the way I want."

Exactly. I think I'm probably the one who said it. All a senator does of consequence is vote. So why care about anything but that?
