I'm sitting in the airport and will be gone for the next 12 days so I wanted to make sure I got my picks in. If I'm cutting it close, I'll go ahead and pick UTSA right now for next Friday's game against FIU
MTSU @ UAB
WKU @ UTSA
UTEP @ LT
UConn @ FIU

Liberty @ UMass

These are some real toss-ups this week. I could have easily gone with the reverse team on all four CUSA games. Hopefully I don't go 0-4...

UTSA

UTEP (In an attempt to excuse a UTEP loss, the Miners are coming off a long road trip and hit the road again right away. Also LT had an extra week to prepare. So my pick is strictly a homer one.)

Last week was a mess, missed all but one I think. Hopefully do better this week.
.
MTSU @ UAB (-9) -- Picked Middle to beat UTSA last weekend and that didn't happen. Now they are on the road in Birmingham, UAB licking their wounds after the Rice loss so I expect a bounce back but no shock either way. Blazers at home in a close one.
.
WKU @ UTSA (-5) -- The Toppers lost at home to Troy and now face the Road Runners on the road, both games last year were shoot outs and both teams have the offenses to do it again on Saturday. Giving the nod to UTSA at home but another tight one I think.

UTEP @ LA Tech (-2) -- This one is a difficult choice when looking at schedules. UTEP has a win over Boise yet only beat NMSU by 7 the same NMSU who lost to FIU 21-7 and we all know the WKU vs FIU score. LaTech is not their normal team but their three losses are against good teams, I see a lot of picks for the Miners but I'm taking the Bulldogs in Rustin and think they generate enough points to pull this one out.
.
UConn @ FIU (+4) -- Two teams that have really struggled this year meet up in Miami. FIU is coming off a much needed win over NMSU while UConn knocked off Fresno State in a somewhat of a surprise. Simply based on their schedules I am picking the Huskies to pull this one out. Should be a one or two score game.
.
CUSA 4.0 for fun:
Liberty (-27) @ UMass -- This is the easiest one of the week. Liberty handles UMess without much problem.

Yep, the old transitive property often doesn't hold true in college sports, especially hoops.
