They showed that at the end of the game. I would not have guessed that off the top of my head. The 2019 Temple game happened earlier in conference play than I remembered.
Really? Never would have guessed that

Cool stat to know, but I also hope we would start 2-0 in conference knowing we're playing two of the three worst teams in the conference.

Yeah I noticed that too. Makes it real easy to find.

That's the thing. Looking back at the other seasons during that streak, we lost our first conference game in 2021 to a Temple team that went 1-7 in conference. And in 2018 our first conference game to Navy who went 2-6 in conference. I agree about the hope, but we have shown it's not guaranteed against teams we should beat.

Agreed. Also a side note on the 2018 game, the whole 2nd-4th quarters were played during a downpour. What was crazy about that game is that there was a 20% chance of rain.
Regardless, starting 2-0 for the first time since 2016 is cool because I would've guessed that happened in multiple occasions.
Starting 2 - 0 in conference is another feather in CRS's hat. CRS is a lot like the American Conference; very undervalued.

Navy and Temple are not easy wins, ECU lost to Navy .. Temple has a very good Defense and they have 11 players on every play on Offense

A side note that you keep harping on, as one of your 100 excuses for us winning football games. It sucks that it didn't rain for Navy. It is incredible how heartbreaking each Silverfield win is, and how heartbreaking each Norvell loss was.

We have weirdo fans, but you are probably the only one that remembers a weather report from 4 years ago, and uses it as an excuse. You forgot to mention how windy it was when we had the ball, when we lost at Navy in 2016. 04-drinky 03-lmfao01-wingedeagle
MisStake cracked the polls at 23. We have one loss against a top 25 program on the road. I can live with that.

I thought the cloud crappers told us they were a bottom feeder, bad SEC team? And those guys are never wrong.

A win against Houston will give Silverfield the highest winning percentage of any Tiger coach in the last 50 years.
