Never too early to start this. Hopefully this will wash away the bitterness of Saturday, hurricane pending.
Something will get washed away with all the rain.
Tie 'em up and throw 'em down...they are FCS!

LOL. This team plays to level of competition. I expect we will struggle again. Watching the storm as well looks like it could reach Boone by game time.
App rushes twice as much as it passes and runs for 350 yards on a wet day. Citadel fumbles three times, App by 35.
Nothing is a gimme with this particular team this year and the Citdogs have a history of upsets. JMU gave a clinic on how to slow the App run game and that really bothers me going forward as App hasn't been the best at making adjustments. Hope the weather holds thru game time or it could be like the Wyoming game a few years ago. Hope Peoples and Noel are close to 100% as well.

JMU figured out how to get Noel and Peoples injured in the previous games?
The most interesting part of this game to me is how well our back eight tackle, we've been subpar (compared to prior teams) through the first four weeks there.

Kudos to the Citadel for driving up a day early to make this game possible. Being on the coast they understand the impact of these storms and made arrangements to mitigate associated risks appropriately.

The Apps are BACK!!!
I did some non-cadet night classes at The Citadel while serving in the USAF back in the late 50's and attended about a dozen games at Johnson Hagood Stadium. I've been somewhat of a fan of the Bulldogs over the years. I'm hoping they will put up a good fight although they will have an uphill battle facing them.
If we want to claim the FCS playoffs we are going to need this game and the Robert Morris game.
Y'all, if Cam and Nate are dinged up I'd like to see this be the Chop game... give him like 30 carries and see if he can put up 300 yards. He deserves it!

Not sure who Chop is, but would like to see what Kanye Roberts can do

Not sure he's up to it after two surgeries. Only so many carries left in that knee. I really admire the young man and don't want to see him have to endure another rehab.

Daetrich Harrington.
Any App people in the triad know of any watch parties? Power is out where I’m at.

And he shouldn’t have to carry the load, even with Peoples and Noel out. Marshall is a strong back and Castle seems to always bowl defenders over for 5-6 yds whenever he gets the opportunity to play.
App taking advantage of the FCS breather. Up 28-0 in the second quarter. Gotta keep the foot on the back of the neck. We know a thing or two about letting up.
Very true. They did say that the App State offense was embarrassed and angry losing that lead last week and not scoring at all in the second half.

Good opportunity to practice some adjustments and get everyone some good game time.
