I am hearing Cincinnati plans to cancel this week's Tulsa game, as they are terrified to play a game at that stadium with its unrivaled frenzied environment.

They have apparent assurances from the Conference that this will not be treated as a loss.
I hope UC's team isn't taking this game as lackadaisically.
Hope the Bearcats take this game as lightly as their fans, good luck with that.

I mean can you blame them for being overconfident? Historically they've absolutely dominated Tulsa.

Tulsa can't beat Wyoming but rest assured they'll play like Alabama against us.

some of the worst trolls on here are (listed as) Tulsa "fans". i believe that this is "tongue in cheek", aimed at those little boys under the bridge, or, maybe, in their mom's basement.

i'm pretty sure that UC isn't overlooking this, or any, game. the last couple of games with Tulsa have been pretty hard fought battles - i expect this to be more of the same.

When I first saw the schedule, I thought uh oh, this could be one of those WTF games.

You're playing in Tulsa, the Bearcats barely beat them the last two times in Cinci, I expect Tulsa to win outright, and if not, lose in heartbreaking fashion once again.
If I were Cincinnati I’d be concerned that a large number of AAC officials are apparently Tulsa grads/fans,

Tulsa Side - This isn't just Tulsa's Super Bowl this year. This is how they want this series to be remembered for the rest of their lives in the history books.

UC Side - We just want to be back in Top 25 and a win @ Tulsa gives us that.

Here's the deal, if Tulsa knocks these guys off Saturday, the schedule looks real sweet for them going forward in the conference. 85 and sun Saturday, good weather.
Truth be told, the majority of AAC teams have a historical win advantage over us head-to-head. The reality is Cincinnati football was el crapamundo for a portion of its past history. Can't change it so you keep moving forward. And yet here we are - about to embark on our farewell tour in the American. That is why it is rather pointless beyond some message board chatter to wave around historical records that don't mean anything in the present. But I digress, I never take any conference team lightly especially for a road game. Plus, I imagine the two-time defending conference champs and NY6/CFP reps will have targets on our backs this season. It's all good. We've earned that but we also have to defend it. That starts on Saturday night.

If true, that wouldn't surprise me at all. Yorkmark has mentioned that all options are on the table including early exit negotiations for UT/OU.

You guys understand we don't play for the team, right?
UC is 10-11 pts favorite. I expect barring injuries we win by ~10 pts.
Tulsa forgot they play the Bearcats and sent their hurricanes to Florida for the week to bug UCF and USF as always SMDH

In all seriousness, hoping for the best Florida folk!
Cincy fans have become insufferable since the Big12 news. They were bad before, but it has gotten exponentially worse.

What was the point of this thread?
