Final observations…
Pranger got pushed around on defense, and in my opinion shouldn’t play this year. But offensively, this kid is an incredible pick up. Creates space for himself and stays in control in tough situations. If he can strengthen his defense this could be a real diamond in the rough.
Lovejoy is an impressive true freshman as well- and ready this year at least for spelling the starters. I did not see major sophomore leaps from either Luka or Rice. But Luka did look like he was playing with more a sense of direction then last year. And Rice could have just been overshadowed playing along Noah and Tyson. So EMU has solid depth with the backcourt/wings.
Both walkons played decent too. Prakash (EMU Royalty) impressed me with his all around playing, while Zaher nailed a couple 3s. Wondering if either will factor into minutes- especially if Zaher is some kind of sharp shooter.
