The offense continues to sputter. Some thought I was crazy for saying this team might struggle to win 4 games.

Upcoming schedule:
Central Michigan, who gives up points, but can score and was giving PSU a game today.
NIU, who took Kentucky into the 4th today.
Kent State, who hung with Georgia today.
Buffalo, who hung 50 on EMU today.
EMU, who was able to defeat Arizona State this season.
BGSU beat Marshall.

This offense will be lucky to beat anyone.
It’s beginning to look like the end of candle. In all honesty he should be let go immediately.

Grow a pair… and put your money where your mouth is and pay the buyout.

A guy taking potshots across the internet telling someone else to grow a pair. The irony. 03-wink

I'll stick to my usual response on the topic. Candle has displayed no moral issues and unless it's something like Beckman's, it's very much not likely. He's not a great game coach. He doesn't apparently have one on staff. But he clearly has his strengths. He's not going to be "fired" before contract. He shouldn't be fired before contract. This was previous AD's doing, not the coach for taking the money and extended contract offerred. For that matter, current Pres could have stopped the extension if I understand the dynamic correctly.
I’ll trade you Creighton for Candle right now.

The current president wasn't at UT when the contract was extended.

I don’t pay that stuff any attention East. So he can say what he wants. Everyone knows candles days are numbered. It’s the number of days that are in question.

Yeah, and this one has asked the AD to cut $10M in expenses...not sure paying a buyout to a coach with a .650 winning percentage is going to help do that.
Mark it down now.

Nicks Picks is another Rockets collapse this weekend and lose 34-30

I’ve got the U-Haul rented, who’s ready to start packing the bags on this current coaching staff?
Family is family. May put them at the kiddy table and withhold desert.

And the current president did not give JC an extension when he was flirting with the Miami OC position earlier this year.

TY for the corrections. I'd forgotten the change in Pres.
Would folks prefer donors and alumni raise the funds to buy out Candle or put that $$$$$ into players NIL? Cause there is not enough cash coming into UT Athletics for both....
