New Orleans and Lamar competed in the North Alabama Showcase in Huntsville, AL today. The men competed in an 8,000 meter race, approximately 5 miles in distance, while the women ran a 5,000 meter race, a little over 3 miles. (Makes me tired thinking about it.) If I counted correctly, 46 teams, including "Unattached", competed. At least 30 NCAA Division I teams were in the competition.

366 runners were in the men's race.
At the team level, Lamar finished in 12th place with New Orleans finishing in 14th out of 33 placed teams.
