My apologies, I thought the ESPN app was reporting EST. I think I got all the times updated.

No problem! And to answer your initial question, I'm DEFINITELY ready for some MAC football (even though Ohio will probably suck swamp water again this year!) 04-rock
Good luck to all the MACsters out there for tomorrow night and the upcoming weekend !! 04-cheers
Hope the MAC wins all of their games and if they don’t, hope it’s a good showing.
No matter the result in week 1 at least half the WMU alumni will be happy! (Most likely the half who will be wearing their MSU gear)

GO GREEN!

... very into reusable energy and restoring the planet these days
Anticipating the UT game goes by rather quickly with a lot of running clock, so hoping to catch the tail end of the CMU game. Will for sure tune into the remaining of the NIU 8 o'clock kickoff, better renew my ESPN+ subscription! Ahh, college football is BACK!

I dropped my ESPN+ subscription after December since I only ever used it during college football season to watch MAC football games. I could care less about all the soccer and UFC content on there.

Anyone notice that all the MAC games today not on network television are on the free ESPN3. Meanwhile the NIU game is on the subscription-based ESPN+? Seems like our streamed games always end up on their subscription stream so they can make money off NIU fans. Three of our four games last year not on network television were also on ESPN+.
Who will have the best attendance for MAC Home games this weekend? My guess would be Ohio, but labor Day weekend may eat the crowd. Could Akron, EMU or NIU pack the place?

If NIU gets 20k today I'll be surprised. I asked a bunch of people to come to the game with me today and they said they had work/family obligations. So I started work very early today so I could leave early enough to make it in time for kickoff. Won't have any time to tailgate or relax and enjoy the whole gameday experience.

Idk man, theyre attendance has been better than NIU lately. The tarps remove about 8,000 seats. 22k would be full.

not sure if you have been to rynearson in person recently but no way their reported numbers are accurate but i understand what you are saying
i get a little concerned with CMU attendance lately, we are bleeding students and the normally packed student section was not very full last season with less students on campus, hopefully with a return to some good football and strong bowl win we can recapture some lost fans this season!
CMU and OSU tied 7-7 late in the 1st
CMU down 16-7 at the end of the 1st. OSU got a safety, then a TD.

Akron is LOSING to St Francis, a mediocre D1AA, at the half: 13-10

Ball State getting RAPED by Tennessee, 24-0, beginning of 2nd Q.

Toledo up 3-0 over dilapidated Long Island University, early 2nd Q (but marching).
Toledo up 6-0 over dilapidated Long Island University.

TD Oklahoma State. They're going to be pouring it on CMU bigtime and won't let up this game. 23-7. Early 2nd Q.
