I want whatever substances the voters had when they gave WMU 3 votes.

It's just Natty Light.
Not a shocker that WMU has 3 first place votes yet also in the bottom half of the West. Unpredictable. IMO, a bad OOC, but a good in conference this year -- after getting settled in with a new O.
Toss-up between CMU/NIU/Toledo. IMO, Toledo "should" get it, but they never can get over the hump, and NIU knows how to. But as easy as that sounds, NIU got really lucky last year pulling out all those close ones. CMU will be ready for revenge against them. I would never want to bet on who wins the West.

I love where EMU is picked…..it will be fun watching this team’s upward mobility as the season progresses.

I found it interesting that Toledo was picked 2nd despite receiving no 1st place votes and Ball State received a first place vote.

So Ball State did not receive a MAC West 1st place vote but did receive a MAC Championship vote. Makes sense.

That was not correct. If you click on the link in the first post, Ball State did have one West vote.

I assume it was their own head coach haha.
Reminds me of when Steve Spurrier admitted he would always vote Duke #25 in preseason coaches poll just because he coached there for a few seasons.
