Leads all D1(fbs & fcs) in sack totals at 7.0
Way to go John! Aside from injury, I don't see him slowing down.

He is benefiting from people double teaming Lynn. Well, we know that can't continue. My expectation is that both of them will end up with north of 10. I don't know if that's ever happened at W&M.

We have 14 as a team already. It doesn't look like there is a team record anywhere on line, but I have to think that this team can break it.

It might have happened in 2009 with Adrian Tracy and Sean Lissemore....although I'm thinking that Lissemore's total more than 10 might have been in 2008.
Adrian had at least 12 in 2009 and 10 in 2008. Sean didn’t approach 10. 10 sacks for a DT would be extremely rare.

You're right, I think I was remembering Tracy's two great years but attributed one to Lissemore.

While looking at the football records, I saw this:

Passing Yards: 2. 8249, Stan Yagiello, 1981-85

Total Offense: 2. 8168, Stan Yagiello, 1981-85

That means that from sacks and from running plays that Yagiello lost 81 total yards over his career. Mike Cook (number 4 on both lists) had 7295 and 7245...so he lost 50 yards rushing over his career.

All the other QBs on the list had higher totals for total offense.
Congratulations to two W&M Cross Country runners:

Catherine Garrison, a freshman running only her second race, was named CAA Women's Runner of the Week!

Tyler Lipps was recognized as the CAA Men's Runner of the Week!
