The one leaving is good enough for a two time Superbowl coach. That is enough to say there's a big hole left, regardless who gets spread thin trying to fill it. Hopefully Candle was given enough notification and all together, they already have a plan to fill the position. Hard to keep someone down just because of contract. Letting the coach go to the pros s the right thing.
Best plan to make up for staff shortage? Former player? Grab another from the coaching training ground?

Keep the train rolling. Applicants knowing the how this coach landed should give Candle plenty of opportunity to find a good fit, even at this late date.
