I’m Jensine, a young, queer Latina, a daughter of immigrants, and an organizer. I work on the MoveOn Petition Platform Team.

Growing up, I watched as my family and community experienced injustice after injustice. And I know I am not alone.

This is one of the many reasons why I’m so passionate about organizing and building community and power for our most vulnerable and systematically oppressed communities.

No Bull, you are an organizer, too. And petitions are a powerful tool to bring our communities together to fight for the change we wish to see.

The more than four years fighting back against Trump’s racism, sexism, misogyny, xenophobia, Islamophobia, homophobia, and transphobia were exhausting.

So, when a multiracial, multigenerational coalition of voters came together to elect a Democratic majority in the 2020 election, securing the White House, Senate, and House, I felt hope for the future.

It gave me more space to dream about what the world could look like: A world where everyone has a permanent roof over their heads, food in their fridge, access to clean drinking water, and access to free, quality health care. A world where people get paid a living wage, get to live free from white supremacy, and so much more.

Creating a world where everyone can thrive is possible when we come together and dream. And we don’t need to wait for elections to push for the change we want to see. We can do it now.

Well, Jensine, it seems that you're out of touch with how the government, your Democratic government are conducting the running of our country. They are in control of the House and DOJ, and the Presidency. Shouldn't that be enough to have what you are dreaming about? Why haven't they done what you've been dreaming. It seems that your roots coming from another country you would be more in line with what occurred in the last term to what THE Senile One is doing to it now. You must be very young and gullible because...well, it shows.

I see crap like that on Facebook all the time. There's some national campaign called "Call To Action" that some idiot on my friends list constantly posts and it will end up showing up when I look at my home timeline. The "Calls to Action" are always something ridiculously dumb like "Trump is preparing to kill all veterans". Yep---they actually believe it. Sometimes I look at the comments to get a cheap laugh. There they are in the comments---droves of moronic clueless democrats that actually think the evil Trump is working hard to kill all our Vets. The level of dumb that makes up the Democrat Party membership is nothing short of stunning.

These Move On monsters e-mail me constantly. It’s weird since I have been a registered Republican my whole life. They scare me because they are organized and all they do is hate Mongering and fear Mongering.
