Given we have been on this board for about a decade, we are running into a problem that is happening more and more now; members who have forgotten their passwords and their accounts are linked to old emails they no longer have access to. So when they get locked out and change to a temporary password, they are unable to access the email where the temp pass is sent to unlock their account.

So please take a moment and make sure your info is updated so you don’t get locked out.

Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk. Roll Archs!

Thanks, and hmmm? I wonder if I'm the only one here who has had one, and only one email address and has still experienced that. I was once paintedblue, and later paintedblue2, and have now reverted back to beenjaminmoore which I used on the old CAAbbs.
Guilty.
I don't know about the rest of you guys, but I have so dadgum many on-line accounts/web sites that require passwords, that I have a log book at my desk with every dadgum one of them in it. That book has saved me more times than I can count.

Two words: password manager. I couldn’t live without it.

I use BitWarden. I recommend lastpass for ease of use.
It would be helpful to provide how to update your email. I can't locate the user controls area to do it. Thanks,

Click your profile name (top right corner). On the left hand side of the next screen under “menu” is a sub-category called “Your Profile”. Under that sub-category is an option to “change password” or “change email” among many other options. Click the one you want to do and then do it.
Probably related: Any alums who signed up using an odu.edu address need to update since they now delete student emails a year after graduation. Earlier this year they purged any older, previously lifetime addresses due to Google charging new fees.

Well this will be a fun game trying to figure out which websites, subscriptions, and other things I used the odu.edu email for lol

EDIT: including this site whoops lol
I’m back!! I had my ODU email attached still. That was no fun. Thanks Drunkard for helping me get it fixed!!!
