crazy, only 3 of 12 are Seniors on the list from the Sun Belt.
When your #1 and #2 RB depth makes the list..

Noteworthy that 3 of the 7 teams with multiple selections are in the Sun Belt.

And on a year where Coastal didn't return any of their top-performing backs.

Indeed. SBC backfield looks very strong all over.

I think a Marshal fan was upset toward Steele about the SBC RB ranking. I think he'd point to this list.
FYI - Louisiana has some really really good RBs to showcase this year not named Chris Smith. We have a true Freshman from right down the road that is seriously turning heads. It’s amazing he didn’t have “better” offers.
It would have been even stronger if the kid from Louisiana didn’t bolt with Napier for Florida

Arguably the better one bolted to TCU. Two of our horses left.

Of the current top 4 RBs on the Louisiana roster, one of them had to undergo season ending surgery. We currently have some real talent but it’s been a tough offseason in the RB room.
Better have your run defense in order this year.

Many at stAte would put Lang as our #3 RB.
JMU back field is loaded as well. Agyei-Obese, Palmer, Black, Van Horse...all starters at some point in their careers.

Behind Snead and Murray?

I think Lang is #2 behind Snead for now and Murray is #3. That could change but I think Snead will start.

Yep. Bailey was a huge loss.
Southern Miss' RB room is going to be STACKED this year:

5'9 185 Frank Gore Jr. - Soph
5'11 206 Dajon Richard - Soph
5'11 200 Janari Dean - Soph (Mississippi State transfer)
6'1 215 Kenyon Clay - true Fresh
5'9 175 Chandler Pittman - Soph
5'10 180 Antavious Willis - Soph

All of these guys (except for the true freshman) played in D1 games last year. Not a single upper classman. We're going to be stacked for the next 2-3 years.

Don't even need a QB. Proved it against Tech.
The Jags are going to have a very much improved running game this year with two stud transfers.

The Webb kid was at Troy for a few weeks before transferring out. Not sure what his deal was. Maybe grades since he went back to JUCO. FSU fans thought he was going to be the next big time running back at FSU.
Pretty exciting to see all the names flying around the league. Those RBs better buy their OLs some steak dinners after this season. I guess the real question is, do you feel confident in your big boys to run the belt?

Couldn't believe what I watching. Two different running backs combined for three passing touchdowns in that game.
