Last year, the OVC was also a 10 team league as it is this year, but only the top 8 participated in the OVC Basketball Tournament in Evansville. Is that the setup for this year also, or will all 10 teams be allowed to take part?
Don’t know the answer but assuming only best 8 of each men and women. Don’t see how they can get more teams in unless they extend tournament past 4 days.

Interesting to note the tournament format. Obviously, 8 teams would allow you to have a "traditional" bracket. But, instead, the OVC gives teams #3 and #4 a bye, and the top 2 teams a double-bye. Makes the regular season a lot more meaningful. Might have my rose-colored glass on today, but I feel like we have a good shot at getting a double-bye and would be disappointed if we don't get, at least, a single bye. Of course, that is contingent on us remaining relatively healthy which hasn't been the case recently. It is also possible that I am underestimating the teams left in the OVC after the departure of the 2 best programs, Murray State and Belmont.
Hate that format and wish they’d do it like the old days: everyone in, traditional bracket, no double/triple/quadruple byes.

I would be okay with a traditional bracket with 8 teams (with all teams in, you'd have to give some teams byes). But I tend to favor the OVC's approach which rewards teams for their regular season performance.
