Picked Memphis #25 in his preseason football poll. In the middle of august he had Tigers picked to finish 6th in the AAC. I don't get it!

He must not use this board as part of his research……..

Looking forward to the season…..I can talk myself into predicting anything from a 6-6 record to a 10-2 one…..
I think you are looking at his picks from 2 years ago

Maybe because I can't find it again.
Oops found it. It is from 2 years ago.
Oh well I thought it was weird.
At any rate I can't wait for the Tigers to beat Houston and UCF in the regular season, and Cincinnati in the conference championship game.

Your posts are often a puzzlement. This board can sometimes be brutal. Knowing that might expose your masochistic tendencies.

Did you receive your mag or do you have the on line subscription. I still haven't received the mag yet, this is the latest I can ever remember it arriving.

Online. I think the physical copies started shipping Thursday or Friday. I'm thinking I'll receive one Monday or Tuesday.
The prognostications are not good. Feeling like we are being led by Ryan StainlessSteelverfield right now.
When the odds are sayin' you'll never win. That's when the grin should start. You've gotta have hope!

LOL---brace yourself--put on your armor -you know they will be coming
Main problem here is Phil Steele is very, very good at what he does. He is usually correct in his assessments. Before the Cotton Bowl season he had the Tigers picked to go undefeated in the reg season, except for the blown call at Temple he was correct.

He is not infallible and there have been teams that have been better than he projected them, but I am concerned that CRS might not be the coach to be an exception. He is very conservative, uses the run to set up the pass, prefers a passive defense. The last two coaches went for broke because they were fighting to get up to better programs and so their teams were aggressive and exciting to watch. CRS seems to think he has found his level so he is more interested in protecting what he has than he is pressing the issue and making his team dominant. Main problem with this is it doesn't create excitement which affects attendance, and like a prevent defense only prevents you from keeping your job.

I hope I am wrong and that he comes out guns blazing this season and make Steele eat his words next spring. I am of course hoping the best for CRS and the Tigers. I'm just expressing my concerns.

I have all stainless steel appliances in my kitchen. They look cool but difficult to keep clean. Struggling to see the connection.

Making a funny.

Silver offers more value than stainless steel and exudes a higher level of elegance, especially for jewelry.

I suppose a better analogy would have been Ryan Copperfield.
