Has anyone improved more than Metz? Now first team all-conference. Many wanted him runoff early for the false starts.

Man, Kiner hasn't even played a down and he is already 3rd team All-AAC. Sky's the limit for him.

Big fan of the Metz Redemption tour.
Notice the entire offensive line, two tight ends, two wide receivers and a running back made the list. Add a QB and that's the entire offense.
Tre Tucker third team kick returner????

Indiana disagrees.

Agree!

Metz has worked exceptionally hard to make his skills match his physique.

NFL teams are always in need of an anchor on the OLine. If Metz has a big year, he could well be another top-half First Round draft pick.

I doubt they even saw him. They remember him catching the ball and then celebrating in the end zone.
I am surprised that Nick Mardner did not get a mention after the big numbers he put up in The MW for HA.

That was such a beautiful moment.

Suddenly that 100 degree heat in Bloomington wasn't bothering me so much!

Funny that was the name that stuck out to me as well. He was God awful with those false starts.

He went from being known as "Fehlstart Metz" to NFL Draft Selection #
The false starts were infuriating but what lost him his starting gig on the edge was the complete inability to deal with any inside move. He'd sell out to the edge on every passing play. Moving him inside solved both issues.

Clearly evident in the GA game, when he was inserted into the starting lineup in the 2nd half.
Who's the returning TE that's better than Whyle?
