I think that's a likely scenario. It comes down to a decision for Lester: Do I want to get paid in college, or paid in the pros?

Not a bad dilemma.

How much would he get paid in the pros?

I think he's amazing and want him to get the best possible thing going for him. Of course I would be ecstatic if he returned.
It is unfortunate sometimes teams will mislead players into thinking they will be drafted so they can then take a shot at them as UDFA. Hopefully Lester does not become one of those players.
At that level a lot of athletes can shoot 3s at a high rate in shoot around. There are also a lot that have trouble creating space to get a 3 off in live action.

LQ improved on getting good look 3s this year. He can have a career playing overseas but considering the competition it’s an uphill battle for the NBA for a lot of similar skilled players. I don’t know if another year gets him more ready than he is now. He would certainly help us.
He’s a damn good college basketball player

Think Antonio Anderson.

Companies deceive their employees and future employees everyday.
Wonder if the NBA will let him wear those nut cutters…
lester and his dad

are on the floor wrestling right now
Wish LQ well, but I think this is a mistake. Can’t really see him being drafted even in the second round. Even if he is drafted will he make a roster? Likely not.

He’ll probably have some 1980 Larry Bird shorts custom made for him.
Wish him nothing but the best. He had been a great Tiger!
A real head scratcher for sure.
I wish him the best. He gave us three solid years but I really do not understand the decision to remain in the draft with such a low probability of actually being drafted.

I'm a fan of what he's done with Memphis, but I don't think he's NBA good.

04-jawdrop
So who do we get to replace him at this point. This roster is pretty weak imho besides The PF and Pg positions
