Somehow UL vs USM playing Halloween week seems very appropriate. It probably should be a yearly thing.

Louisiana vs Southern Miss . . that game will be awesome and hard fought on an ESPN national broadcast platform. Love me some Cajuns but do not sleep on Southern Miss . . I think USM takes a big step forward in their first year in the SBC.

There was a year where we played UTEP on Halloween weekend.. UTEP wore all orange unis and USM wore all black.. It never happened again. Should've.

Oh man! That’s awesome. Best we could do this year is for us to wear all black and you guys wear all yellow. Pretty close.

Seems like a clash between similar size cities and similar Gulf Coast/south Mississippi/south Louisiana cultures?
