Fellow App brethren, I've heard from different people online and from staff at the school that there are supposed to be some type of temp. bleachers put in place for the UNC game. Does anyone know where in the stadium they are to be placed?
My understanding is in the north endzone under the premium seating and in the south endzone on/above Miller Hill. I've heard the ones in the south endzone may remain throughout the season. I'm not "connected" with anyone in the know, just what I've heard from the YC board.

My confusion is because of Yosef's Cabin. It seems like they backtracked the claim that stands were going up in the South Endzone. NewApp hijacking the thread to be a moron didn't help either.
Per the most recent Yosef Club town hall, temp seats will be in the North endzone for the UNC game only where the patio was set up last year. Temp seats will also be in the South endzone for the entirety of the season and those will be located between the endzone and Miller hill. In other words, a lot of Miller hill will likely be blocked which I don’t necessarily love but it does allow many of those that normally sit on Miller hill to have a seat will will be especially helpful during bad weather games or games where it has recently rained/snowed and the ground is wet.

I know some people love that grass hill, but I'd like to see it converted to actual seats, connecting the East and West sidelines.
I'm not sure the South Endzone temps has been decided. It does seem there has been some re-thinking about bleachers there.

I have mixed feelings on it. Obviously you don’t want to block the scoreboard and they definitely aren’t going to do a new scoreboard after they just put this one in a few years ago. I’m also honestly just not sure how additional permanent seating would look there. I do think it probably will be done at some point though.
Have the Tarholes played in Boone before?

The place will be rockin'

I hope you beat their azzes

The initial plan was for there to be temp bleachers in the SEZ. The total capacity was to be about 3k and they were to stay there for the season. In addition, there will be temp bleachers for around 2400 people placed in the NEZ for that game only.

As of Friday, they are still working on some logistics for the bleachers for the SEZ. They haven’t ruled out putting some in, but the likelihood of them is up in the air.

They would not have gone high enough to block the scoreboard. The issue has it was explained to me had to do with the grade of the hill, as well as, the view being obstructed to those standing on the pavement behind them.

Never. In fact, until 2019 they had only played us once ever back in 1940. Low and behold as we always warned them we would do if they played us, we beat them in 2019. Series is 1-1 all time. Time to take the lead….

You know they could just raise it higher right? Move it up 15-20 ft.

How do you move the scoreboard? I feel like it’s just so large and awkward because of the size.

Obviously I'm over simplifying and I don't know how it's currently constructed, but extend the vertical supports and mount it higher. The bottom of the board sits about what...20 ft off the ground right now? Why not move it 10 ft higher?
