Quote:It’s election year, again. That means it’s time for the country’s political elites to pretend to care about the American people, again.
President Joe Biden rushed off to Buffalo, NY on Tuesday to show the country that he cares about the predominately black victims whose lives were senselessly snuffed out at a supermarket mass shooting on Sunday.
But Biden might have been trying a bit too hard. Watch:

“The center of attention who made everyone in the room laugh and smile when she walked in,” Biden said, apparently straining to muster a tear.
“Andre Mackneil, 53, worked at a restaurant,” he went on, wincing. “Went to buy his three-year-old son a birthday cake. His son is celebrating a birthday, asking where is daddy? Katherine Massey, 72, a writer and an advocate who dressed up in costumes at schools and cut the grass in the park and helped in local elections.”
Biden also botched an anecdote about his grandfather while trying to connect with the grieving people.
“My grandpop used to say when I walked out of his home in Scranton, he said, ‘Joey, spread the faith.’ And my grandma would yell, ‘No, Joey.’ I mean, he said, ‘Keep the faith,’ and my grandma would say, ‘No Joey, spread the faith.’ We’re thinking of you. Hold on each other tightly,” he said. “Stick together. You’ll get through this.”
Biden is going to have to stick together with his staff writers who are putting up to the task of delivering heartfelt remarks to Americans. When he isn’t screaming or shaking hands with invisible people, he’s painfully straining to shed tears at horrific events. It’s all a big act, whether people want to believe Biden was emotionally touched or not.
