So once 2023-24 comes along a 14 team AAC will have to make a decision. Go to divisions or just operate as a 14 team league if the NCAA goes along with what AAC and others are requesting.

If it goes as a 14- team no division which is most likely the case, each school would probably get three permanent opponents and then the other five games will be for two years home/ away. This way every four years everyone would have played everyone home/ away at least once.

Who would you pick as your three permanent opponents and who do you think would be the ones AAC would choose.

I’ll start for USF
Pick: Memphis,ECU, Temple
AAC: FAU,UAB,ECU

Me: ECU, Navy, Memphis
AAC: ECU, FAU, UAB

I hadn't thought of the 5 and 5 approach. That's not bad. Hate the SEC model where some teams play each other once every 72 years.

I'll go for ECU:
Pick: Memphis, Navy, USF
AAC: UNCC, Temple. ?USF?

3 is tough with two Floridas. Navy will be West despite being the closest. I feel like we'll HAVE to take Temple because we're the only team within 1,000 miles. We'll 100% get UNCC. USF/FAU/UAB are a toss-up for #3 honestly.

Temple, Navy, USF
AAC: UNC-JV, USF, FAU

Somebody who is bored, put together the whole thing. I think it will be easier to determine if we have the whole puzzle. I think a lot of us will be assuming the same three.

Me: Memphis, USF, Temple

AAC: Navy (ugh), USF, Charlotte

Rice: Tulane, SMU, Navy
AAC assigns: UTSA, Tulane, SMU

Tulsa: Tulane, SMU, Navy
AAC assigns: UNT, Rice, SMU

Me - Navy, USF, Memphis
AAC - Navy, Temple, UNC-Harrisburg

Name one ECU player who has missed the start after the Navy game. '06, '10-'12, in the AAC.

The only thing that makes it costly to ECU is Navy's propensity to average 66 points per game at Dowdy Ficklen.
