NU won their first CAA series winning 7-3 Friday and splitting a doubleheader Sunday winning and losing 1-0.
NU got great pitching overall but the bats are still struggling.
Nuttee, hitting is contagious and right now no one is hitting. The freshman (Bosland and Sirota) are struggling. Viera is still batting at the Mendoza line. Crossen is still trying to find his swing since coming back from hand surgery. Beckstein, DiLoreto and Costello have been inconsistent lately.
They don't have the same team speed they had last year, so they're not stealing bases and they've been struggling at home offensively.
NU also switched up the weekend rotation, as Schlittler has been moved to starting on Sundays. Keane is now the Friday starter and Scotti starts on Saturdays.
NU takes on Harvard Tuesday in Cambridge in the Beanpot consolation game.
