As mentioned, the mods for Marshall and ODU have had their powers transferred to the SBC Forum. That means much like the JMU Mods got a few months ago, they have the ability to moderate on this forum as they see fit.
The original USM Mod: ShiftyEagle has been removed for inactivity.
I keep getting asked if we're going to get a new mod. The answer is: We don't know. Now that everyone has been moved, we're going to wait and see how things flow on here before making a call.
My opinion, looks like there's plenty here. It's not gonna bug me if USM isn't represented. From what I've seen everything and everyone is on the level here.
For moderation issues it's best to have at least one moderator per school if at all possible. It helps smooth over issues when a third party is needed.

Good on you for taking the inactive mod away. Maybe if that board gets going, we could have an active USM added.
Works for me. When it comes to moderating I'm more of a coach than a compliance officer. =]
That being said I'll keep mostly to the ODU board unless you need me and see me online or something.

Remember when Nick Saban criticized offenses in college football.. A year later he hired Lane Kiffin who ran that offense to be his OC. Same thing here.

Yeah, but how about a Mod for UL? Or even ULM? UL has one of the biggest fan bases in the SBC, and there two La schools in the sbc, but I don’t think there is one mod for between both schools, or they are very inactive.
Be a USM Mod would be fairly easy since there is not a lot of activity on that board. Kinda of odd since the pay boards stay busy.

ATL still regularly participates in our mod chat, so we at least know where he is. BTH hasn't logged on in 2 years.
