His reason sounds sympathetic, but I would expect this could be damaging to his prospects in both the primary and, if nominated, the general election -

Hey, we have American hating, antisemitic, Somolians, so why not.
Apparently his team decided this could be damaging as well, and are now walking it back -

Damn variants.

Someone get me Owen Wilson on the phone.
Honestly.. I don't see how he can run, he lives in Jersey, he's registered to vote in PA using his in law's address.

there's no obligation that you be registered in the state in which you run... and I don't know of any states that have actually enforced that on the books, I want to say Wyoming or Texas MIGHT have tried, but it was shot down?
“Is he really an agent of the government? There’s not really any evidence of that,” said Steven Cook, senior fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations. “But if Oz has business connections that rely on being in the good graces of the government, there are legitimate questions about his views on these issues.”

This to me is a crock of Schiff. So what if he has Turkish citizenship, there are millions of Americans that have it too and that doesn't make them spy. Besides, if you want to be a spy or a traitor you can be 100% American that wouldn't stop anyone from being one. Look at Hunter and his dad, they're both taking money from foreign governments and one of them is leading (oxymoron) our nation. What's to say that THE SOB isn't running this country in fear that he'll be blackmailed by them.

I'm more worried if he will fall into the Mitt category after he gets elected. Remember that he was (like Dr. Phil) a person that was installed by a vicious Liberal Oprah Win-Free and who knows whether he'll be in her pocket.

that’s called the Dan Crenshaw … as a resident of Tejas, that’s one ya should be quite familiar with by this point…
Trump has now endorsed Dr. Oz, that ought to boost his chances in the primary -

Bad pick for Trump. Oz is not a good candidate and even if he wins he’ll be a RINO. Some will say that’s the best you can get out of PA, a RINO but I think PA is ripe in this small window of time for someone much better
Interesting timing. Today former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum endorsed Dr. Oz's main primary opponent, Dave McCormick -

Hopefully lots of Republicans in Pennsylvania listen to this guy, "I'd rather lose the seat" than have to suffer RINOs is a great recipe for Democratic victory.

This is what frustrates me about the republicans. Democrats put every importance on winning elections, on having someone with a D after his/her name sitting in as many seats as possible. Republicans are more like if he/she doesn't agree with me on every issue, I am not going to lift a finger for him/her.

You can't do anything if you don't win elections. And the person who agrees with you 100% of the time can't always win. A pro-life republican can't get to first base in New England or New York or California. But if republicans just held 10 more HOR seats from those places, or 2-3 more senate seats from there (or Georgia) we would be in a very different situation, even with Biden/Harris.

I'd rather a true libertarian/conservative than a RINO, but I'd rather a RINO than a democrat. And it pisses me off to no end that there are RINOs that would prefer a democrat to a libertarian/conservative republican.
