NASCAR announced they are exploring the possibility of starting an electric car racing series.

An abomination is still an abomination even if developed in Memphis.

Besides Tesla looks like the company doing the development.

But imagine how quiet it will be....

And Tesla can turn their cars off any time they feel like it or don't feel like it....lol.

More evidence that NASCAR has lost touch with its base. It has been announced that Hendricks will enter a Cup car in next year's 24 hours of Lemans as a garage 56 entry.

No idea why Jim France is trying to make the most successful type of racing in the US more like the least successful type of racing in the US.

i'm sure left turns will be just as exciting with electric vs gas engines. lol.

I could care less about NASCAR or car racing in general but I'm curious why going to electric cars would be a bad thing? I don't have a feeling either way but honestly curious.

Saturday night April 2 take a trip across the river for the opening night late model special at the Ditch, aka Riverside International Speedway.

You need to feel the power and hear the roar of the 850 hp engines. Actually feeling the ground pounding energy as they pass by.

That would be the best way to understand why most US motorsports fans do not care for electric class.

Would be like comparing an electric trolling motor on your fishing boat to a blown 502 inboard motor.
