I'm good with this guy. There are a couple guys that UC has reportedly contacted that I'm not ok with.

I haven't watched Spencer play, but looking at his numbers, he looks more like a Kellan Grady type than a Cane Broome.

At birds-eye level, I'd agree...but Grady had 2 more years of better stats in a much better conference.
I think if you pick up Mason Madsen and put him in the Patriot League, he'd give you what Spencer did in his first two seasons..
I'm really intrigued by this guy. Top 7 or 8 in the Missouri Valley is basically 3-9 or 10 in the AAC in terms of quality, so you would think his skills would translate. He carried a huge load for Bradley (high usage, high shot volume) while shooting a solid percentage from 2 and 3. He has a really high assist rate to go with it. Seems like a creator in the purest sense (for himself and others). Didn't foul a ton, and he had a really good steal rate on defense, so I think he'd cut it on that end too.
His turnover numbers are high, but Wes was able to really get turnover numbers down across UC's roster this year. I think he could bring those down for us. This guy looks like a great option.

Has 2 years of eligibility left (at least)...6-11, 235lbs, was on pace to be NC State all time blocks leader (147 in 2 seasons) and shot a career 65% from the field. Averaged 10-6-3 as a sophomore in 2020-21 (out this past season with an injury) and has 50 starts. TONS of connective tissue with Wes and Cincinnati (from North Carolina, was offered out of high school by UC and UNCG, and we have a guy on staff who made the exact same move).
Bates would be a home run, our last NC State big man transfer didn't turn out so shabby
Bates and his NCST team went 4-0 in head to head matchups with Wake F/ Oguama...they played similar minutes and Bates posted better numbers in all but one matchup. Was looking at Bates numbers today against Bacot from North Caroina and he won some matchups and played favorably as well (5 blocks in his last matchup against North Carolina with a W).

Yeah, it's basically up to them to determine when they want to commit, no national signing day.

the one dude from Wright State seems like a Wes type (long, athletic, skinny as hell but defensively adept).
