I know camp is still a week away, but do we have any idea who will be the starter?
The obvious answer, I think, should be Darius, but, the last time Hollis was healthy (spring 2021) we saw a greatly improved passer.
Hollis has been plagued by his shoulder ever since ECU in 2019, but the talent is undeniable.
On the other Hand, Darius had a successful season last year, albeit was still very raw in terms of a passer, kind of like Hollis in 2019.
Both are super talented/athletic.

Both are very capable and we may need their rushing abilities this season so it’s good we have this dilemma. Darius is a more accurate passer but when he misses, there’s a higher probability of throwing a pick. We’ll probably need both to step up this season, at some point.

A little nostalgia. One of my favorite games. I recall we were down by at least two TDs and came back to beat JMU on Halloween.

Not uncommon, but I think it's interesting that we were picked 5th but had the 3rd most number 1 votes. Means a lot of CAA coaches undervalue the Tribes chances of contending.
Hmmmm....I wonder who thise two 1st place votes were from.....
Probably one each from Nova and UD --- each of whom would not have wanted to vote for the other.

I was listening to this one since it was during trick or treating. I remember following on ESPN app at first and then finding a radio for the 2nd half.
Feels like this year's RB corps has the depth and quality we had with MAS and Kendall Anderson. I wouldn't argue with anyone saying they think we might even be better this year.

Great seeing the effort being made by the staff to keep our current verbal commits in the fold until signing day.

STATS poll has us ORV but they have URI in the top 25. URI was 7-4 overall and 4-4 in the CAA last year and we’re thoroughly embarrassed in all 4 Losses. I mean, curbstomped. They beat a terrible UMass and good Delaware team for their signature wins. Didn’t play JMU or Richmond.

2022 season previews have begun, with the QBs first.
Doesn’t name a starter, but mentions Mathis first , ahead of Wilson, although that could just be alphabetical order.

Both were highly successful as TFr. Gotta be hard to sit while the other plays.
I just hope this battle makes them want to push that much harder because Tyler Hughes has the skill to sneak up on them.
