Best atmosphere in years

Great atmosphere today!!! Wish I had took pics.

I used to be one of those fans to lecture fans on coming out and supporting the team no matter what....

As I have gotten older I now realize how hard it is to do all that is necessary to attend games and create energy for the ECU, and, Tulane and USF type games.

When the game was big (Alabama, Cincy, Houston) and our team needed us, we showed up and showed out.

I obviously could not be there in attendance, but I can say - from the opening tip - the FedExForum looked amazing and full. I texted my brother, family and friends that were in attendance and they loved every minute of it.

For the next month I'll be closer to you guys on the Left Coast than to Memphis. Hopefully I'll be able to get some data reception here and there so I don't miss too much.

Close. Taking a month to wander through the Southwest. Didn't want to miss March Madness, especially now that it looks like we're going to the dance, but I also want to beat the heat.

Yeah...better stay off the DF. The Southwest desert is a big bigger biggest high in and of itself. Rock formations like cathedrals...aliens hang out there ya know. lol Don't fraternize..no matter how tempting.

Ha! I'm no stranger to the West, and outside of COVID monkeying with everything, I try to go west for a month annually. We'll be all throughout the region including New Mexico, Arizona, and Utah. Lots of hiking, climbing, and canyoneering in the works.

The only downside will be missing the games. I would love to bring a satellite internet system, but they're not that portable. Plus, Starlink has at least a six month waiting list and isn't something one can backpack with anyway. I'll have to be happy with catching up on scores when I occasionally meander close enough to civilization.

I've dabbled with Iridium sat phones in the past, but trees and rock render it less than useful more often than not.
