Tarleton State announces memorial stadium expansion to 24k seats to begin in a few weeks.
Will this be the biggest stadium in the WAC once completed? Is this Tarleton’s way of telling C-USA they’re looking for an invite.
Will SFA follow suit with their historical in state peers (TX ST, Sam Houston) doing the same?

If they really want to join the FBS ranks, they will. Even so, who knows what SFA really wants?
Where are they getting the money?
People at Tarleton are not very bright. Should be doing more to their basketball arena. If Sam Houston can get into CUSA with their stadium, Tarleton really doesn’t need it right now.

Tarleton is apart of Texas A&M system. So from them. Board of regents has expressed getting as many schools as high as they possibly can athletically

It talks about the new 7,500 seat arena/hotel/convention center in development. It also talks about other new developments happening on the campus. And it was started several days before this thread.

You must have missed the announcement about a Hotel and Event Center (Arena) in the planning stages. So, we are doing something about basketball. Rumor is $70 Million just for the event center that can seat 7500

Well, they are now that they've seen UTSA & others go off and get bigger invites. Prior to that they were worried about CStat only.

I haven't heard anything about SFA expanding the football stadium. It already seats 14575. And that's without anyone sitting on the hills or in the endzone. SFA has hosted 23k and a big HS playoff game between 2 nearby towns pulled nearly 28k.
I believe a practice facility/new football lockerrooms/offices is probably higher on the list.
Still turned down by CUSA in March.

Nah your crusty britches are getting to your head. It has zero to do with the quantity of the posts. The quality of mine aren't Pulitzer either, but that's the whole point.
