This is the position that most concerns me. The key to our defense has been having elite players at this position and the opposite edge. We have had monsters there, especially for C-USA. Sanders looks like he could be next but we need someone else to step up to that level with him.

If there was a late transfer available, I wonder if we would add someone.

The coaches are still working the portal. Hopefully the new signee - Drew Tuazama - will help. Not sure if he will play the Jack or inside. I think he'll get a chance at Jack but won't be here until the summer. Don't be surprised, at least for now, Fairbanks moved back inside. We will see if that happens. No doubt this position is a work in progress.
