Most of yinz live in town with high falootin city gas and water so it’s not on the radar but for those of us who don’t live someplace with hardwired cable or internet…

Got our Starlink system up and running. Took 2 minutes.

Runs steaming and YouTube TV flawlessly so far. No lag and picture is crystal.

Speed test with it snowing sideways right now and with the heated robot receiver sitting on the snow in the yard (not on house or on a pole yet).

692 Mbps download
291 Mbps upload

Apparently it spends the 1st 12 hours getting calibrated so those test numbers seem to keep increasing.

Massive upgrade over the satellite or phone based internet/Wi-Fi we’ve been forced to use up here since moving from Cincinnati.

Anyways, thought I’d post if anyone is in a similar position or is looking for something to take on the go.

How much is it a month? I would love to quit giving money to AT&T.
$99/month

Thanks, I'm at $40/month, but I'll keep an eye on that. I would imagine it will come down as more people adopt it.
bump. still worthwhile rath? our cabin in lower middle wisconsin doesn't get cell phone reception. some rabbit ears on the cross beam of the a frame shack pick up stations from eau clare and la crosse. like twelve stations. we don't have a television at home so this is a real treat for us. andy griffith and chuck norris shows. but opportunities to work from home. i'd rather not have many more options with the television though. love those damn rabbit ears
