The Cardinal managed just 39 points Saturday — 39! — in a double-digit loss at Cal. (The 1950s called. They’re unimpressed.)

With five losses in his last six games, a trip to Arizona awaiting and no chance of an NCAA at-large berth, Haase has little to show for a tenure defined by mediocrity — and zero NCAA Tournament appearances.

Odds are much higher that Jerod Haase will be the Pac-12 coach who gets fired
I'm incredibly surprised they stuck with him as long as they have. Mediocre coach, mediocre results. His protégé was much worse..
As someone who follows the PAC-12 pretty closely he gets really good players and some that are in the NBA. He just can't win the ones that matter the most to get over the hump
Stanford collapsed at the end of the season last year, losing their last five games. They are a three-game skid right now, with two games in Arizona this week.

This. Seems like every year I read about him pulling in a highly ranked freshman, but then the team would suck and the kid would just go pro.
