tomorrow is March 1st, the alleged day the SB football schedule, with possibly TV games, will be released

surprised there isn't more chatter on here about it.

will be a huge day to see our first FBS schedule, and maybe even more exciting, which games we get selected for TV and if any of them are home games.

ODU at JMU on ESPN2? yes, please !

It’s hard to talk about a schedule that may not get released due to CUSA’s refusal to back down legally. We don’t even know what our conference makeup will be in 2022.

I’d put it at less than 50% chance it’s released with 14 conference members on it.

I"d wager it will be SBC14 tomorrow...

But don't expect to see many games with hard and fast TV commits yet

Yeah. Excitement is on hold while the CUSA garbage is going on. I think the SB is going to wait for a little while. They don't want to be associated with what CUSA is doing right now and it's entirely possible that if SB puts their schedule out and it includes Marshall/ODU/So Miss (which it should), CUSA could try to sue and cite damages due to already putting out their schedule. They may release it tomorrow, but I just don't see it happening.
Not sure how long SB will wait before they just put out the schedule as CUSA is now interfering what what they are doing. It's also possible SB could sue CUSA for damages for doing what they're doing, but I think the courts are going to have to rule in favor of the schools first.
Sun Belt will win. CUSA will lose.

It will come out tomorrow. And it will be SBC14.

I think that we will see a schedule with 14 teams tomorrow. One thing to keep in mind. The only games with TV schedules tomorrow will be weeknight games and possibly sone regional ACCNetwork contests. If ODU is part of your schedule for Rivalry Week, I wouldn’t expect to see any TV announcement until mid November, as Saturday games don’t get slotted until about two weeks out.

Original rumor was that ODU would be playing in Harrisonburg, the new rumor on the Sun Belt board is JMU at ODU this year.

Interesting, if not ODU, we get 4 others at home, could be some big games like at least one or two of App St, Marshall, Coastal. As long as we don't have both Georgia St and Georgia Southern the same year, it is going to be pretty good I think.

We get 3 of:
App, Marshall, Coastal, Georgia St, Georgia So, ODU

And then a west team like Texas St or USM for the 4th

The more I think about it, at ODU could work out well. We might have a shot at a big crowd there if we jump on tickets. Its an easy road trip.

This....would be surprised if it doesn't include the SBC3. And most are very confident it will come out tomorrow.

At worst I would say the SB3 would be "TBD" or something like that but know exactly who it is.
But most likely they will all be on the schedule. I have to imagine that more publicity will come out of this after tomorrow due to three schools being on two different conf schedules.
Also, CUSA is going to be on ESPN's s*** list... if they aren't already. You don't want to make them angry.

Its a full schedule, and it includes the SB3. ESPN went as far as selecting games involving those 3 new teams for national broadcast. Drops at 10am ET tomorrow.

At the same time the schedule is released. The ODU hearing against CUSA is also at 10 am in Norfolk.

I did some visits of SBC Cities a few years back and posted my experiences. Found out quick that people who work within the Sun Belt and various athletic departments monitor the conference board. I just know who to ask.

One thing I do not know is how the SBC is going to mention they suddenly have 3 new teams in their schedule for next year. No one is talking about that at all.

ODU fans are claiming we’re in Norfolk this year. Earlier rumors said the opposite. Someone obviously had bad intel along the way.

I got excited just to know it was SBC14 ahead of time... ya'll coming in here with dates. lol

That stinks for JMU if that's the date. Means back to back road trips to Louisville and then ODU.
