Even though we were picked to pick 2nd I feel like there are a lot of question marks. We open at #19 Tennessee tomorrow afternoon

The Jags are hosting a tournament with Radford, Oral Roberts, and Tennessee Tech.

We play South next week I believe.

Very excited! I’m gonna make the Sunday game. Would love to get 4,200 tomorrow night. It’s gonna be a cold one but we should get a couple thousand.

I think we have the potential to be a good league this year. If South Alabama can get the sticks going we could be a really good team. Pitching and defense will be there. We lost a couple good hitters to the draft in Ethan Wilson and Michael Sandle, so we need some players to step up from behind the plate.

We open this year with a 4 game series at home vs Holy Cross.

I see ODU has 6 preseason all-conference selections (2 more than USM and 3 more than La Tech) but is predicted to finish 3rd. Without being close to the situation ODU must have lost some starting pitching.

Open tomorrow with Central Michigan, also play West Virginia and Kent State this weekend. Should be a nice weekend.

Gilley will be in the dugout this weekend after having surgery on Tuesday in Houston for his cancer treatment. He will not coach 3rd

Yep. Lost our top two starting pitchers and one of the better relievers. Our offense should be as good if not better, which was our bread and butter last year. But pitching is a question mark. We brought in some good recruits, return a very good starter from last year and hopefully some relievers can step up. Finwood sounds optimistic and so am I till I see otherwise. We’ll be very good again but so will several other teams in CUSA. Let’s go Monarchs! And Eagles until we come to Hattiesburg.

My friends know after the SB, I go into a funk until August sometime since my hockey and basketball teams suck and MLB's just too greedy..

Would be nice if we could go 4 teams deep again this season. Weren't all 4 ranked at one point?
