Big deal....

Their careers are already dead. Its like firing the 85th bullet into a year old corpse.
It was necessary to formally go on record.
Against all censuring so even though I get it (especially how much the other side does it in various forma) I fully disagree with it

if they don't, they're dealing the same RINO turn card looking for same on the river...
THIS is what GOP members mean when they proclaim that they DID something. The GOP is all talk when it doesn't matter. Where the rubber meets the road, there is scant record of them doing much of anything.

Mitch and Kevin have helped the dems move their agenda. Those two clowns need to be replaced.

Mitch has to be outed soon as leader ... how 'bout John Kennedy for a tumble before the goons find a longer-term solution?! that'd piss dems off like nobody's business...

ol' Kev from Cali?! ... pick your poison on a house leader .. it appears he's trying to step up his game of late...
She and Mitt can suck eggs...

This is my issue. If the GOP was going to do this, than it should’ve been done immediately well before it was clear they wouldn’t win re-election with or without GOP backing.

I understand the “need” for it, but it’s ultimately worthless to everyday Americans.

Politicians politicking is all this is. Political grandstanding.

Exactly right. The WSJ editorial board describes it as an act of “ritual purification” - - https://www.wsj.com/articles/the-gop-cen..._lead_pos2

That is, understandably, a necessary part of any real religion; in this instance the Fellowship of True Conservatism (my descriptor, not the WSJ). But it is not particularly helpful for a non-secular political effort to take back control of our nation from leftist grifters.

Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger are toast. Deservedly so. They should be scorned in the opinion pages, on political forums and in public conversation. And they should be removed from Congress in the normal way - - by the voters of their districts.

What should not happen is for them to be made into martyrs that force the majority of Americans, those who want what is best for our nation, to first swear fealty to the Fellowship of True Conservatism. That is self-destructively stupid.
This is good news. They don't deserve support from the GOP. but, the party needs to be careful too, we don't want those two flipping sides and giving Biden's agenda new life either.

They flipped sides by doing what they did already. Nobody cares. Those two clowns aren’t winning the democrats any more favor than Jeff Flake or Mitt Romney did. People just see them as traitors to their own morals. They’re too dumb to realize they’ll be the first to be devoured when the left eats their own.

No senate candidate can earn my vote as long as they support Mitch or one of his cronies for the job of majority leader. I think that should be the litmus test given by every GOP primary voter. We need a good freedom caucus majority leader.

I agree to a point. But, if these two get petty and decide they want to make the GOP pay for punishing them, we could all get saddled with Build Back Better and other Biden agenda projects. Those two could hand the democrats the change to the filibuster that Manchin and Sinema wouldn't. We can't have that. Neither will be in the Senate next session. We don't need to risk them handing the democrats wins.

Manchin and Sinema are US Senators. Cheney and Kinzinger are House Reps. I’m not sure how to follow the logic that either of them could tilt the filibuster change in the Senate?

They weren’t going to win re-election in the seats they are in. There’s no way they’d win a Senate race.

These two have zero power. They are two votes out of 435 and Pelosi already has her 218 votes. They can go on CNN and continue to serve the DNC. That's all they can do.

This is not about conservatism. Its about undermining the party by serving on a Democratic committee while being appointed by the Democrat. None of the other 8 who voted for the bogus impeachment charges got censured.
