FOUNT OF PESTILENCE
They're saying a lot of people are quitting & finding better jobs.

It's strange to me tho, w/ so many work-from-home jobs now, you'd think ALL of those would be filled fairly easy.

The companies are generally trying to keep salaries down.

If you quit a job to take a new job - technically that is a zero sum gain (or loss).

"They" need to work on their math skillz.

Sounds like the people who have been working minimum at McDonald's for 30 years finally have jobs they can apply to.
I resigned my job last December and started a new one 1/10/2022.

Best move I made.

Wife asked me to get a job at a Fortune 500 company.

I didn't know where my new job was on that list, so I looked up the ranking.

#10.

Not bad. Got to quit the part time UPS job and haven't looked back.

Great salary, plus guaranteed bonus.
unemployment rate expected to drop below 3% by end of 2022…

Great time to be a worker.

“expected” …. is that akin to, “I suck cocktail, b/c it tastes good and is sterile?!”
“Expected” being key word

First the 4+ million jobs that haven't come back since February 2020 would have to be "created" to get back to even.

Fed projects unemployment to drop… hell, we’re at 3.9% now.

And it is a great time to be a laborer… companies are throwing money at workers as the economy soars and more & more jobs are created.
Quote:The jobless rate could continue to fall as companies scrounge for workers and several factors, including early retirements, limit the share of people who are working or looking for jobs

by shrinking labor participation w/o going on the dole ...
