I guess playing .500 ball in Year 4 with only one NCAA appearance doesn’t cut it in The Ville. Had a run-in with media this last weekend.
Dang
He should have never left Xavier. Everyone can win there apparently.

I said that the day he took that job.
Greg Marshall??
Maybe Mack was too clean for them. They are quite the smarmy bunch over there….

Too clean? He has a pending IARP case against him, but I guess lots of coaches have those these days.

Only one? Definitely too clean for them. 03-lmfao
He'd do good here but that's not happening

geez Brad, are you trying to imply something?
So
They also have the highest revenue generated by any basketball program in the country. Louisville and Kentucky are #1 and 2 on that list easily.

This is the problem with generic thoughts such as "Fire Coach X." It's only a good plan if the next coach is better.

Louisville fired Rick Pitino because of the FBI investigation, which was preceded by the recruiting violations/escort service allegations hovering over the program. Too there were the rape charges Pitino was personally accused. They did not fire him to hire Chris Mack.

Mack has his own issues, of course, but if he were winning games at the clip UL expects, those would likely be viewed differently. UL is not going to wait for Chris Mack to develop: they’ll look for a coach who will win, & I doubt they have trouble finding a replacement.

Louisville also has a much nicer arena to play in in my opinion.

Imagine the city of Memphis building an NBA style area for the Tigers. Instead we get the money sucking grizl.

Sucks
the beauty of opinions and our ability to express them

lol

Good for you.

I liked the softball leagues the park commission had as well as the services the parks provided to the Memphis community. King willie killed the park commission for the money to give the grizl. Probably has no effect on crime in the inner city because everybody loves the grizl.

I grew up spending summers being baby-sat by the Park Commission. Bicycle derbies and box hockey, man what a childhood.
