Awful from maw those last 2 plays.
Well that was dumb...oh well, I dont think many of us reasonably thought @Memphis was a win coming into the season, but you can't waste an offensive performance like that...
This one is on Mica...missed front end 1 on 1, missed bunny layup because scared of getting blocked, turns it over on last possession. WTF happened to this guy.

The second to last possession we got a wide open shot and a layup.
Now that was a good loss with a capital "G." Should move UC up in Sagarin & Kenpom.
It's just crazy how every game like this when the other team needs a basket in the last minute they make the shot. It's every single time. Memphis did it twice. A three from out of bounds and then a contested on-the-run shot.

Yeah - to not even get a chance to tie it was a shame after the way they played the whole game.
They play like that and they'll have a good conference record. It's a shame they lost because they had a good chance to win that game, but they played well

The ball never left DDJ's hand and he tried to make a step over three. Not what you want in key possession.
The 40-minute effort was great, but "good losses" are only for teams that don't have tournament aspirations.

Coming up on the short end of winnable Q1 is nothing but disappointing - especially when you break an arena record with your shooting performance.
Hated to see the panic in the final minute
Difficult loss. Probably the difference between NCAA and NIT. Need this effort the rest of the way.
Can't give up 80+ points on the road and expect to win. Defense needs to improve. Another tough free throw shooting day again. Otherwise, the guys played pretty well on offense.

i haven't watched Cincy much all this season (due to cfb and because it was on espn+), but effort aside, can they replicate the shooting? That's what kept us in the game. JD got way hot and the team hit over 50%. i realize we aren't going to play the talent level of Memphis much the rest of the season but is effort enough if we aren't making shots (honest question as i haven't seen them much).

Needed a Q1 win in the worst way. Probably the best chance we'll have at one unless Houston sucks when they come to 5/3

yeah, that was a shame. Micah had greatly improved his offense the past few games and had this happen near the end. Nobody probably felt worse about than MAW himself. He has won some games in his career for us and most players will experience lots of down games during their 4 years of bb. He'll probably learn from this but come on, how many really thought we'd take it down to the last 40 seconds on Memphis homefloor. The Harris kid had the game of his lifetime, it appears. UC is improving and will move on as a better team if they learn from this and work on the weaknesses. I wonder how long before Memphis gets bashed with recruiting violations again. Seeing the assistant coach on the sidelines of Memphis just reassures me that there is still some cheating in that program.

My thoughts exactly. I would say " I can't believe you shot the ball so well" but Murray State did the same damn thing ... And won. Both teams played great ... Glad we won this time !! Seems your better than you were supposed to be !! 04-cheers

They played well, pissed down their leg end of game. Memphis lit it up from three as well. Last 2 games have me feeling better about the program at least.

Looked similar to the final stretch against Arkansas.

This team could really use an alpha. Its the difference between fighting for an NIT bid and being a solid NCAA tournament team.

I still not sure if kids he brought over from UNCG will contribute here or if they will end up just being back of the roster guys.

There are enough decent parts that a game changer would be huge if they could get one next year.
