A Hofstra win would be good for any postseason scenarios. If we can schedule some good OOC games to backfill the canceled ones that might help too.

Less than 24 hours before game time and there isn’t a game article on JMUsports.com. It makes me wonder if the game will happen.

Very curious to see the Dukes as a 1 point favorite when we don’t even know how many players are available.

Can’t wait for Hoops to re-start and build on the momentum from the UVA win.

Very excited for this one (fingers crossed). Tough to lose the great momentum that the team was building but glad they are at least getting back on the court.

It’s a shame we’re getting excited about playing a team that until a few years ago was the “Flying Dutchmen.” Always thought they were a sorry backfill after GMU, VCU, Richmond and the like left. But I’m just glad we’re playing.

I think WSVA is asleep at the control room. There was no pregame show because a loop was playing indicating they could not broadcast the WFT football game due to NFL rights. Not sure why they didn’t flip the switch to the JMU feed.

It looks like no COVID cases. Everyone has played except Ihenacho who is in a boot

44-43 at the half. Both teams getting lots of good looks with very little resistance. Defense optional today.

Dukes missing Ihenacho, Pride missing their lead in scorer Cooks.

Just find a way to win this home game. It doesn’t look like there is any rust offensively even after a month off. We’ll see what coach does to ignite the defense. Full court pressure probably won’t do much in terms of turnovers against a guard based Hofstra team, but maybe it slows them down and gets them deeper into the shot clock for some rushed attempts.

Both teams playing well to my eyes. Thought there would be a bit rust coming back but happy with the performance so far. Few guys are heating up from the 3 but also mixing in a 2 point drive and getting the foul.

This is isn’t great though.
