Now that the last bowl game is is the books, and the National Championship game matches two SEC teams, the OOC schedules are complete for this season. Below are what my records show for each conference for Win% against FBS competition, Win% against P5 competition and bowl W-L record.

Independents, of course, are not a conference. This year they were very much a two-headed monster. Notre Dame, BYU, Army and Liberty were a combined .714 against FBS opponents and .700 against the FBS. On the other hand, NMSU, UMass and UConn combined for .065 and .000. Even that is misleading because their only 2 wins (against 29 losses) were to another team in that group. NMSU beat UMass and UMass beat UConn. UConn beat nobody. Excluding games against each other those three were a combined 0-35 against the FBS and 2-3 against the FCS.

I guess we could take the optimistic view and say those three are programs on the rise, because they can't get any worse.

Notre Dame put a dent in both the ACC and the PAC, going 5-0 and 2-0 respectively. The PAC also went 0-5 against BYU.
