Hey, there may be a garbage time push that saves Vegas from being leveraged to 90% of the money.
Good thing UC is going into the Big 12. A G5 team may never get another chance unless they expand the playoff.
I know Alabama has the best defensive line UC has faced all year, but UC's vanilla offense today just didn't give them a chance.

I was good with the defensive gameplan. We made passing really hard on the Heisman qb.. we sacrificed some run success but shortened the game in the process. Had the offense held up its end at all defense did enough to have a chance.

Des has two reads on that play, give or take at the mesh, then pass or run on the stretch. He has blown those reads consistently throughout his career.
We sold out against the pass and we got killed versus the run.

Our offensive game plan was just odd today.
Fick needs an upgrade to Dencock. Densuck.

Alabama has defeated P5 teams in the playoffs by worse scores than this one.

Yep, obviously they ran better than we hoped mainly because our front was getting manhandled in rush, but the gameplan on defense was pretty good.

Offense has been largely a disaster.

Did we have one?
Score one TD to cap this season.

This game was a weird slow death.

After what Tulsa and navy did on the ground against us, they should've sold out on the run and let our corners be on an island. Our dbs against their Heisman QB and WRs, best on best. Instead they took our best out of the game because we refuse to stack the box. Would've rather had 8 on the line and let them air it out. I just feel like we played into exactly what bama wanted to do.

Actually now that I'm thinking about it you're probably right. Held bama under 30. Needed the o to show up and win a 27-24 type game

Basically they chose to get shot in the leg and hope it doesn't hit the femoral artery instead of getting a middle shot right at their foreout. (A good choice). Unfortunately, the defense bled out before the offense could do anything to patch the wound (or in the case of this game, find the first aid kit).
Completely out of the game and we finally decide to get a sweep to Tucker...lol.
Why are we still taking so long to call a damn play?

Because a geriatric **** is in charge
This game may have cost Ridder some $$
Why is everyone shocked by the offense, play calling and game plan? It’s been this all season long. If you really look hard, UC scored in bunches, then the offense would just disappear. In every single game. Denbrock forgets what weapons they have, or how to use them. It’s only magnified this game because of who they are playing.
McConnell in for Metz and we start moving the ball in the run game. Almost like having an interior lineman with two hands available to block is more effective.

I domt think anyone is shocked...we're simply extremely disappointed that nothing changed in the 3 weeks they had to try to come up with anything new/better.
