As I have stated before, I don't normally do this, but for once I would like some actual feedback from the political left:

1. Should Merrick Garland get involved in the border crisis, or do we even have a crisis to begin with?

2. Is Merrick Garland doing a good job??

3. Opinion on Kamala Harris: is she good, bad, mediocre??

4. Is President Biden getting a raw deal from Senator Manchin and conservative media?? How has President Biden helped move this country forward?

5. Was opening our borders a good idea or a bad idea?

6. Your opinion on crime. Is it up, down,or about the same??

7. How is the January 6 riot different from the Seattle, Portland, and Chicago riots??

8. Do we have an energy crisis or not?

9. Is Secretary Buttgieg doing a good job as the Secretary of Transportation??

10. Are vaccine mandates necessary?? Is more testing necessary??

11 Do we need to get tough with China and Russia and do more than trade sanctions??

To my fellow conservatives, please let our Democrat and our liberal posters answer these questions first before answering. In fact, I will personally invite RedWingTom to answer my questions. You have the floor.
Wrong board to look for a lib opinion. If they are posting in this forum, their judgement is already shaky.
Just watching. Hope they chime in. Lol
Most all of the libs have disappeared, they started filing out of the exits when it became apparent to anyone with half a brain that they had elected a corrupt, degenerate and senile old fool. Only the most deluded among them have bothered weighing in on anything these days. Most all of the houses of cards they constructed have collapsed. It's funny seeing them shocked by it.

1. Should Merrick Garland get involved in the border crisis, or do we even have a crisis to begin with? No, federal troops should be involved.

2. Is Merrick Garland doing a good job?? Not no but hell no

3. Opinion on Kamala Harris: is she good, bad, mediocre?? She is beyond bad.

4. Is President Biden getting a raw deal from Senator Manchin and conservative media?? No, he's getting better than he deserves. How has President Biden helped move this country forward? This is the trick question, right?

5. Was opening our borders a good idea or a bad idea? Is there a "worst idea ever" option?

6. Your opinion on crime. Is it up, down,or about the same?? Up, yugely.

7. How is the January 6 riot different from the Seattle, Portland, and Chicago riots?? The riot that wasn't? Is that the one?

8. Do we have an energy crisis or not? We have an administration that created an artificial energy crisis as a means of exercising control over the masses.

9. Is Secretary Buttgieg doing a good job as the Secretary of Transportation?? Who?

10. Are vaccine mandates necessary?? LOL, uh, NO. Is more testing necessary?? Only if you feel sick.

11 Do we need to get tough with China and Russia and do more than trade sanctions?? We need to maintain a heightened awareness and readiness to react in case (when) they do something stupid. Right now it appears to be a lot of saber rattling done in the vacuum created by the installation of Biden as POTUS.

Since no one will likely respond to this I pretended to be a liberal democrat, one with some common sense.

Just like my ex wife.......

Over commit to something and/or create a problem, then leave it for you (me) to fix once it is too late (and complain that you (me) are not doing enough to fix the problem THEY created).

We may have the same ex! Man, she had passive aggressiveness down to an art-form.
"Since no one will likely respond to this I pretended to be a liberal democrat, one with some common sense."

That deserves to be the last question:

Are there any Liberal Demoncrapped with common sense"

Answer: No, they live in an alternate world of fools.

As for the wives: My ex would blame me for stuff that happened to her while I was at work and only knew about it when I returned home. It was always my fault for some reason.

Self awareness is a trait not in liberal genes.

Of all places….
We all know they are here. None have the slightest set of male anatomy. Should have known they are all feckless little puzzies. All waiting the moment they can come back and cry about Trump lying.
RedWingTom, you have resurfaced, so now you can answer my questions!!!
(12-31-2021 02:53 AM)DawgNBama Wrote: [ -> ]As I have stated before, I don't normally do this, but for once I would like some actual feedback from the political left:

1. Should Merrick Garland get involved in the border crisis, or do we even have a crisis to begin with? Indeed, we have a crisis that goes back many administrations. There is certainly a role for the DOJ to play in improving the situation.

2. Is Merrick Garland doing a good job?? Yes, I have no complaints with his performance at this point.

3. Opinion on Kamala Harris: is she good, bad, mediocre?? She's talented and good, but hasn't found her footing in the role yet to be as effective as I think she can be.

4. Is President Biden getting a raw deal from Senator Manchin and conservative media?? How has President Biden helped move this country forward? From Senator Manchin no, from conservative media yes. We've moved forward in many positive ways under President Biden, one current example being the unity that "obsolete" NATO and the West have shown in opposing Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

5. Was opening our borders a good idea or a bad idea? Our borders have never been open as a matter of policy under any US administration, but this and several prior administrations have failed to control them effectively. So they have been much more open for many years than they should ever be, open borders is NOT a good thing.

6. Your opinion on crime. Is it up, down,or about the same?? Violent crime is up. Pandemic fatigue hasn't helped, and we desperately need to address the gun violence problem that only the US has amongst all wealthy nations.

7. How is the January 6 riot different from the Seattle, Portland, and Chicago riots?? Nobody in Seattle, Portland or Chicago stormed a government building in an attempt to disrupt an electoral process mandated by the Constitution, for one. That said, the rioters in Seattle, Portland and Chicago were also wrong and should be investigated and prosecuted to the maximum extent possible under the law.

8. Do we have an energy crisis or not? No. We have an inflation crisis that is affected energy and many other sectors, not a lack of energy.

9. Is Secretary Buttgieg doing a good job as the Secretary of Transportation?? Yes, one of the best Cabinet secretaries. Has made some progress on the port clogging issue and hopefully will oversee a smooth execution of the bipartisan infrastructure projects.

10. Are vaccine mandates necessary?? Is more testing necessary?? I doubt mandating vaccines for everyone is constitutional, but I support vaccine mandates to the maximum extent allowable under the law. Exceptions should of course be made for any who might be medically advised not to take the vaccine due to other health conditions. Testing has been a problem throughout the pandemic, but at this point it appears to be widely enough available.

11 Do we need to get tough with China and Russia and do more than trade sanctions?? I don't think we need or want to start a war with either one, so I'm not for military action. Expelling diplomats can be appropriate in some circumstances, but we certainly need to continue talking to both. The current sanctions against Russia targeting oligarchs and banks certainly go beyond trade sanctions, and I do think they are appropriate under the circumstances.
