It is really hard to believe, when we started broadcasting together, well over 30 years ago, we were both young, single, slim and had brown hair... yep, 0 for 4 now.

There are a ton of stories I can tell, at his eventual retirement party (a decade from now), that he will gladly pay me to keep silent about, but he truly is very deserving of the honor of being nominated for this award and I hope he wins it. He is a consummate professional.

For many of us, he is the only voice of the Tribe we have ever known. I hope he wins and it would be well deserved. On a certain level though, he has been winning for 40 years. Would love to see one of the Tribe sports go on one more magical run season before he retires.
