Rollins sat a while ago. I’m guessing others will follow soon. Bench has contributed some tonight but I remain completely unimpressed with this freshman class.
Look up “garbage time” in dictionary and you’ll see a video of the last couple minutes. Carcoana shooting threes, Kinsey getting stripped by Farmer or Jacobi, wild stuff.
How many times are we going to let that man block us?! My goodness. He had 10 against Jackson St. We might be getting there.
That's one way to get the bench some time.
If forced to pick between last year's outrageous shooting and this year's defense it would be close. I trust defense to be there more than 40% 3pt shooting. Dennis' runner is a very nice weapon to have when the other team has the advantage in the middle.
UT kept foot on the gas unlike last week. Bench contributed big time, especially on boards.
Another thing I really liked was the reserves playing the ball into Carcoana instead of dribbbling around a bit then jacking it from the outside. They had a couple good defensive plays also.
